FAQ

Common Questions

How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 60 minutes. Some students prefer 90-minute sessions for more intensive work โ€” this can be discussed during the consultation.

Do you offer crash courses before exams?

Yes โ€” intensive pre-exam programmes are available for students who need focused, rapid preparation in the final weeks before their exams.

What platform do you use for online sessions?

Sessions are delivered via Zoom or Google Meet, with a shared digital whiteboard for working through problems together. A stable internet connection is all that's needed.

Can you help with the NEA / Programming Project?

Yes โ€” for OCR H446 and AQA 7517 students, I offer support for the non-exam assessment (NEA), from planning and analysis through to implementation and testing.

What if my child is really struggling โ€” is it too late?

It's rarely too late. I've worked with students who started from a very low base and made meaningful progress. The earlier you start the better, but structured support at any point is better than none.
